The Express Lab patient portal is a free, easy to navigate system that provides online access to your laboratory results that are organized into easy to follow categories.  The portal also provides explanations about the laboratory tests, highlights results that are out of the normal range, and even tracks progress.

Easy Online Access 

The Express Lab patient portal provides easy online access to lab results you can understand on either a smart phone or computer.  All you need to do is
sign up for an account.  The system will prompt you to link your data from your doctors’ orders.

Easy to Understand

Once your test results are linked to your account, they will be organized for you as illustrated in the graphic below.   The most recent data from new tests will be populated in the “LATEST TESTS” row and any positive or out-of-range results will be highlighted in red.

Get Smart

The laboratory test results for each category can be explored further by simply clicking on the health category.  Your test history will automatically be charted for your review with a description outlining the purpose of the test.  Many small informational videos will further educate you on the test as illustrated below.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do my results show up?

Historical results will show up as soon as your data is synchronized with your new account. Results for new clinical tests will be available immediately once the test results have been processed.

How long does it take for my results to be available?

Each test will have differing timelines and some tests may be delayed based on the performing laboratory, complexity of the testing, etc. Laboratory tests that are performed on-site will generally have a 24-48 hour turnaround time. Laboratory tests sent to outside or reference laboratories average 1 to 2 weeks to send results. COVID-19 results vary based on testing capacity and availability. Why don’t my results show up?

There may be several reasons that you do not see your results when you login. Only laboratory tests that have been done by Express Lab or sent to one of our lab partners will show up on your portal. Depending on the difficulty of the test, it make take a few days or a few weeks to be completed.

Other common issues include, setup issues with your account, name misspelling, etc. If you need assistance, you can email, lab.support@idahomed.com and one of our support staff will assist you.

Can I get an account for my child?

Yes! If a parent or guardian of a minor child would like an account for their child, they enter the child’s information. The system will recognize that the child is younger than 18 and the parent or guardian will be prompted to enter their own personal information. Please note that you can use the same email address for child accounts so that all notification come to you, the guardian, but YOU MUST CHOOSE A DIFFERENT USERNAME for each child. Make sure you remember the username and password you selected for each child as that will be required to sign in and view their information. Once the parent/guardian enters their information, they must attest they are the guardian of the minor. Once the attestation is complete, you will have access to your child’s laboratory test results.
